As a born-again believer, I hold a dual citizenship; I am a citizen of the United States of America, but I am also a citizen of Heaven. No doubt, on a daily basis, the way we live our lives in freedom reflects our American citizenship. But more importantly, the way we do life on a daily basis should reflect our Heavenly citizenship. As a new creation in Christ Jesus and a citizen of Heaven, it should be obvious to the world that we are pilgrims and strangers here on earth. We are simply passing through; our destination is God’s Holy City!
Does My Character Reflect My Heavenly Citizenship?

- Because I am a Citizen of Heaven, I Should be Characterized by a Servant’s Heart (Vss. 22-24)
- Because I am a Citizen of Heaven, I Should be Characterized by Living On-Mission (Vs. 25)
- Because I am a Citizen of Heaven, I Should be Characterized by Living Radically for Christ (Vss. 26-30)
