In the life of any born-again believer, the struggle against our sinful, fleshly nature is a daily battle. Over the last few weeks, as we’ve been enduring the challenges and hardships from the COVID-19 pandemic, you’ve probably noticed that the battle between you and your sinful nature has intensified! It’s not easy to always respond in a Christ-like manner to circumstances that challenge us. But as born-again children of God, we must understand that we have a higher calling; we are citizen of a heavenly city. We are Christ’s ambassadors to a world without hope, a world in spiritual darkness. Therefore, it is of utmost importance that we respond to this pandemic with the mindset of Christ Jesus so that He may shine through us before a world that has been darkened by sin.
