If you have trusted Jesus as your personal Savior, do you consider that you are running the race for Christ? If you are running the race, are you running to win for Christ? How many runners would enter a race without the attitude that they were running to win, to cross the finish line? Probably none. But, think about this, how many would enter a race without the intention of running at all, instead, just standing at the start line? Sounds absurd doesn’t it?
Now, how many people come to Jesus without the attitude of running the race to win for Christ? Or even worse, who would come to Christ without the intention of running the race of faith at all, but rather just stand at the start line?
